The relic pilgrimage of the Nordic visit of the Saints of Lisieux reached Finland on Thursday, October 25. The relics of Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus - also known as Thérèse of Lisieux - and her parents, Saints Louis and Zélie, toured Finland beginning in Oulu, through Turku and Helsinki, with the visit concluding at the Carmelite Convent in Espoo.

Bishop Stephen Chirappanath will have an official meeting with Bishop Teemu Sippo SCJ on June 15th and he will be celebrating Mass in Malayalam for the Syro-Malabar faithful in Finland at St Henry’s Cathedral at 9.30 a.m. on June 16th.
The Nordic Bishops' Conference has encouraged Catholics in the Nordic countries to assist this year's Synod of the Family by replying to the Synod's so-called Lineamenta questions. Time is limited, however: you need to respond befre the beginning of April. However, you can now give your replies to the Lineamenta questions at on St Henry's Cathedral Parish website.
On the page henrik.katolinen.fi/lineamenta the Linaementa text of the Synod Fathers is followed by a series of 46 questions. Unlike the corresponding Vatican page you can give your answers by filling in the boxes on the page. When you click the Submit button at the bottom of the page your replies will be sent automatically to the Vicar General of the Diocese of Helsinki. Please note that you must reply in English. You can choose to answer all the questions or only some of them. You can also reply by e-mail (in English) directly to yleisvikaari@katolinen.fi. Please write ”Synod 2015” in the subject line and remember to reply before April 1, 2015. The Catholic Children's Club started in the autumn of 2014in Tikkurila, Vantaa, continues in the spring of 2015. Club meetings will be held at 16–18 every other week. The first meetings of the spring season is on Thursday, January 15. From February onwards the meetings are on Wednesdays. You will find the full list of dates on the Club's page.
